Submission Guidelines

The Nieve Roja Review is not accepting submissions. The original submissions information is provided below for historical purposes.

The Nieve Roja Review, the online literary journal of Colorado State University, is now accepting submissions for upcoming issues.

The Nieve Roja Review is a diverse electronic literary journal, devoted to providing publishing opportunities for new and established writers and artists. Our primary purpose is to publish quality fiction and poetry, thoughtful and innovative criticism, intriguing interviews, and compelling art work. This on-line publication will remain free to the internet community and will provide a space for a multitude of voices and contributors with vastly different experiences.

The magazine is published twice a year, in the spring and fall. Submissions are accepted September 1 thru May 30.

Submission guidelines:
There is no fee to submit to the Nieve Roja Review. Please limit Poetry submissions to five poems. Please limit Fiction, Nonfiction, Interviews, and Criticism submissions to no more than twenty pages.

PLEASE SEND SUBMISSION AS AN EMAIL ATTACHMENT IN MICROSOFT WORD, RICH-TEXT OR TEXT-ONLY FORMAT TO:

All Submissions Should Include:
A brief cover letter with the author's name, address, email address, and phone number.
A self-addressed stamped envelope if the disk needs to be returned.

We have one-time publishing rights and authors retain original copyrights for their work.
